parking on streets nearby, if you succeed, room with a heavy tobacco smell, clogged drain in shower cabin, poor breakfast (orange juice seemed dissolved)

The location was convenient, easy travel distance to Tegel airport and 10 minutes from the u Bahn system, some of the staff were very helpful despite their lack of English speaking skills.
I had emailed the hotel about some food allergies enquiring if they could accommodate and an email asking for a ground floor room with wheelchair access. Neither email was replied to and the hotel was inaccessible for a wheelchair with a basic breakfast. The staff spoke very little English making it hard to communicate. The showers were cold and the heating was turned off despite the biting cold winds (it was July but cold) the staff did give me an extra duvet when I asked and offered to make me a flask of tea. Overall it is a basic hotel, with basic food and some nice staff.

The host is very friendly. Compared to the economic price, the breakfest is also very good.

Great place. I am glad I can now go to them direct and get a better price and save them your fee! Thanks for listing them so I could find out about them.
.I am a very positive person so I will express it in this way. It would have been nice to have had non pork lunch meats served at breakfast. I so wish bottled water (not the expensive kind) would have been routinely served every morning so I would not have had to ask for it.

Very nice comfortable and clean room. Very good breakfast. Very nice neighborhood, at 10-15 minutes walk from Charlottenburg, at 5 minutes from another nice small park, near the luxury shops street, next to Kant Strasse - street with many restaurants and bars.
Instead of (cheap) plastic cups in the room they could put two (cheap) glass cups. The parking is a lottery because it is public free parking and anybody that is in the area can park there - so we were lucky and found one place when we came (in fact it was the only free parking-place at that moment). Sometimes all the places were taken for hours until a car would leave.

The Hotel is old style, more on the "budget" side, but clean, quiet, with big rooms, like a small apartment. The area is very nice, with good cafes and supermarkets just across the street, a short walk to the subway will take you to Berlin's main attractions.
